Where To Begin?

So the hunt for inspiration is on and I thought I might share some with you.  Opened up my brand new album purchase of Yeasayer's 'Odd Blood' and was very excited by the rather amazing artwork by Benjamin Phelan and even more excited that it somehow slotted perfectly into my current thoughts for the collection.  There's nothing like a gooey blanket of colour or a holographic, stained glass, alien helmet to get the design thoughts racing.

They seem to be shrouding themselves in fabulously threatening decadence and I'm feeling like this little piece of album artwork is getting pinned on my wall.

The Plan

I'm hoping that the mess that is my thoughts right now (thank you Stefan Bruggemann for the visual) might slowly iron itself out if I begin to unscramble it all and float it out there in the world wide web. I'm basically looking at the development of a fashion label to help me through my design process and into the final stages of creating a collection.

The job of the blog is to document all my thoughts on my muse, target market, competitors and mentors so that I can tie it all in to my design process and develop a collection under a really focused fashion label.

So here goes ...
